OSHKOSH WATER TOWER

The beacon of Oshkosh stands tall and proud amidst the Sandhills and corn fields of western Nebraska. Built in 1920 it is the first and only water tower in Nebraska to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Scheduled to be demolished after it ceased operation in 2018,  a non-profit organization formed to preserve the iconic and rare example of an old “tin-man” tower.
